Though each classroom has a different time schedule, all class schedules include the following activities:
- Free Center Play:
- Blocks, Legos, dress-up, home living, reading, listening center, computer, art, writing, manipulatives, sand or water tables, puzzles, etc.
- Guided Activities:
- Language Arts, math, science, social studies, Bible, art, drama, stories, games, music and finger plays.
- Circle Time:
- Calendar, unit themes, games, guided reading, weather, music, finger plays and stories.
- Snack:
- Provided in the morning and the afternoon by GGA. Students with food allergies or special diet restrictions must bring snacks from home. **If your child will be in extended care in the late afternoons, please provide an extra snack in their backpacks to be eaten during that time.
- Lunch:
- Brought from home.
- Nap/Rest Time:
- Napping will take place in the 2-year-old and 3-year-old classroom.
- Enrichment:
- For the children who do take a nap during the day, special enrichment classes will be offered such as music, art, foreign languages, or creative movement.
- Outside Play:
- Sandbox, water table, tricycles, tire-swings, slides, games, running, jumping, etc.
